Void Ant self-released their first album in 2005. A few dozen CDRs were distributed locally, and mp3s have been available on the net. Compositions on the album were created by digitally manipulating and sampling rough guitar improvisations. This made for a unique collection of strange sounds, often unrecognizable in origin.

Void Ant+ is a sort of non-traditional remaster of that self-titled debut. The original recordings and samples became "digital dust" long ago, leaving only low fidelity mp3s to work with. This 2022 edition, featuring new cover art, contains "amped up" versions of the original track list. This was achieved by experimenting with layers, distortion, reverb...
